Account Deletion & Data Retention Policy

You can delete your WorkWalaa account at any time directly in the app:

• Open your Profile / Settings screen.
• Tap Delete Account.
• Review what happens, choose a reason, then type DELETE to confirm.

You may also request deletion through our official support channels (info@workwalaa.com or WhatsApp +91 81568 01024).

• You are signed out and lose access to the platform.
• Your account is removed from active use and active searches.
• Push-notification devices and in-app notifications are removed.
• If you are a company, your active vacancies are closed.

For 90 days after deletion you can restore your account with your data intact by simply signing in again with the same email. We keep your information during this period so that:

• You can recover your account if you change your mind.
• We can resolve payment disputes and support escalations.
• We can investigate fraud and abuse.
• We can meet legal, accounting, and compliance obligations.

During this window your personal data is held in a restricted, admin-only state. Access to it is limited to authorized administrators and is logged.

• Your personal information (name, phone, email, and other profile details) is permanently anonymized.
• Your login credential is deleted, freeing the email for a new account.
• Restoration is no longer possible — you would sign up as a new user.

For legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention reasons we retain transaction records (payments and payouts) and audit logs. After the retention window these records are no longer linked to your personal identity.
